Job Responsibilities:
• The Project Manager will effectively plan and control assigned projects by monitoring progress, managing procurement and recording production and job costs
• Develop and maintain project schedule and budget to ensure project meets initial estimates
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Responsible for reviewing all associated contracts, specifications, drawings, scope of work, estimates, requirements and other pertinent project information and prepare a project plan for review
• Attend pre-construction pre-bid meetings and site surveys
• Oversee Submittal preparation and review
• Responsible for month-end financial reviews, including revenue recognition and job cost review
• Oversee the assignment of projects to staff members to obtain most effective utilization of resources to meet the Company’s commitments to customers
• Responsible and accountable for the project management system and tools for all assigned projects from the time a project is acquired through the final payment of closed projects
• Complete Project Close Out Report to identify final changes in work scope, additional revenue opportunities and any hindrances that may delay close out and final payment
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years industry and sales experience.
• Certified in Gamewell/FCI, and also have knowledge of Silent Night, Notifier, Edwards, Honeywell, Fire-Lite product lines a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years’ Project Management experience within the alarm and fire industry
• 5 years+ of field installation experience and managing employees
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Highly organized with ability to multi task
• Valid and clean driver’s license
Knowledge of:
• NICET a plus
• NEC
• Fire Alarm
• Intrusion Alarm
• CCTV
• Access Control
Preferred:
• California Journeyman Card
• Reg 4 certification
• IP camera experience
• Windows software configuration
• Extensive network knowledge

The Role:
Provide field technical service for fire alarm systems and intrusion alarms at multiple sites a day as assigned.
Clearly communicate information or concerns related to the service being provided to clients, end-users, or office staff as well as conveying any up-sell opportunities to sales team for follow-up.
Prepare and submit service documents/reports as required.
General Requirements:
- Must have a working knowledge of the NFPA 72
- Capable of general troubleshooting (i.e., open circuits, ground faults)
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, lift heavy objects, and work on your feet for an extended period
- Comfortable bending, stooping, and crawling, in confined spaces. Able to work in limited illumination areas, working in dusty conditions are required
- Ability to work independently and manage your time
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written); especially in a customer-facing environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to drive company vehicle
Preferred Job Specific Skills & Qualifications:
- Background in fire and security alarm systems
- Certifications in fire alarm & detection equipment or equivalent a plus
- Minimum 5+ years industry experience
- Adept at reviewing construction drawings
- Gamewell-FCI, Silent Knight and Farenhyt Programming
- Knowledge of Gamewell-FCI, Farenhyt, Silent Knight and Fire-Lite product lines
- NICET certified a plus
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) software knowledge a plus

Salary Range: $58,000 – $72,000 year based on experience
