Our mission is to provide systems that give solutions for performance, flexibility, and cost. This is done by working closely with our clients. The fire, life-safety and security systems that we offer also range from modest access control systems that use proximity cards, to the most sophisticated bio-metric systems that use hand geometry, fingerprint, and facial recognition technology. Our range of service areas for access control systems include Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara and Ventura County.
An often-overlooked area of security is controlling access to your facility or areas within the facility. What good are cameras that see every square inch of your facility but only give a view to a crime? Preventing access can stop that crime from ever occurring. This is accomplished by the installation of a robust access control system. Controlling access to the building or other normally secure areas is critical for not only the safety of building personnel but also for proprietary company information and property.
Access Control Systems Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino, Riverside, Santa Barbara, Ventura
Access control systems easily customized by time, company role (managers vs. Non-managers), or various other methods. A good access control system can also “inventory” inhabitants of the facility in the event of a natural disaster or more serious man-made issues such as terrorism or disgruntled employees. An investment in an access control system scaled to easily fit most budgets. Depending on your needs, timeline, and budget, Advanced Alarm & Fire, Inc. will work with you to design a solution that fits your needs today and when you grow.
Below are examples of both ends of the spectrum:
Non-monitored card reader and door release
This simply makes sure that the door will not open unless someone has an electronic “key” to open the door. By activating the release by fob, card reader, or keypad, a sent signal releases a magnetic contact, or an integrated door locking mechanism.
Monitored full access control
This system is monitored by a central station. It controls the hours in which specific employees can enter the building, as well as which areas they can enter. By sending a text message to the owner or managers alerts of unauthorized access or any access after normal business hours provides additional security. In the event that there is unauthorized access, it can also notify the police. It can also be integrated with your array of IP or CCTV cameras and burglar alarm systems.
